miss YOU

lovers.jpgEver felt like you cannot breath, like life is leaving you; I mean constantly gasping for air even in an air-conditioned room. And sadly it’s not as a result of blocked air-duct caused by excess smoking. I mean when you feel helpless, and almost crying just because of a human being. Mscheew!!! It’s painful but it’s true. A period where you are utterly tired of using technology to reach her; you simply miss her and dearly crave are presence. Facebook is terribly slow, twitter is aiight,  but it don’t allow full expression of one’s internal, they restrict or limit excess out pour of flows; so that medium too is dulling. And the more the means to communicate fail to work, the greater the intensity associated with the ‘missing’ you just want to see, hold and feel this girl.

You desire a walk in the day time with your little fingers interwoven; then for THEwriter his other hand in his pocket, or explaining reality while making graphical explanations pointing towards objects. No doubt R.I.M brought it closer, you can actually take shots of events as they unfold and send as e de happen, and Ping all the not having to be at MTN’s mercy of 4-7 Naira. It still don’t compare to those nights you are parked in-front of opposite Studio 24 to tidy indomie, its 2 a.m its cold, and both of you are still holding, now she’s placing the order cos  she kno ow her boo lik it.

Mid-Night Call also known by the distinguished AJE as Happy-Hour… yeah we spoke in the day time, you told me about work, and how you did a couple laundry and stuff, and also how I’ll pay-in as regards the shoes I promised; I see the smile on your face, but there is one baddest, sweetest gist I have to gist you at night, ‘if I tell u now it wunt be sweet’ ‘but don’t sleep oh!’ ‘I have to wait till wen ur in bed’ ‘I’ll start callin u from 12’

FRESH!!! Gaskiya, but THEwriter would have preferred you so close I can feel the hair behind your neck, and you feel my breath… I MISS YOUR PRESENCE.

Thank you

FootBALL

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b4/Fu%C3%9Fballgeschichte_%281872%29.jpgHistory never said soccer originated in Jand, or even any part of Europe, in fact even if they say I would not believe. It is only said that games revolving kicking of a ball have been played in many countries throughout history, such as woggabaliri in Australia, harpastum in the Roman Empire, and cuju in China. The present rules associated with football are based on the mid-19th century efforts to standardize the widely varying forms of football played in public schools in England.

Point is the game is working well in there because people simply ‘think well’ am a die-hard Man U fan and I can cry when rubbish happens on the pitch, am also the type of fan that can approve 10 mins extra-time just as long as we tidy. But when I notice am celebrating beautiful ‘white’ football with just a tiny Africans I feel bad to a large extent. Only Mikel as a Nigerian is playing recent European expensive world soccer. The last Nigerians to carry Champions League are Finidi George and Nwankwo Kanu seventeen years ago when Ajax beat giants A.C Milan in Romanian capital Bucharest and then now John  Mikel Obi, then I turn to SuperSport to get a glimpse, or I rely on nation dailies for intel.

No doubt THEwriter is a fan of wishful thinking, but is it impossible for Real Madrid or even Manchester United F.C to buy players directly from Dolphins F.C, Shooting Stars, Eyimba International F.C, or even Lobi Stars F.C? Like it happens in South America where all the dem Boca Juniors, Sau Paulo, Santos etc will sell players directly to Europe when these boys are still young and alive and make serious money. Ronaldinho learnt work from Jay-Jay in P.S.G oh! Which means Africa can produce talent.

I know the problem, it’s still corruption, Oga instead of doing 2 percent and tiffing 98 percent, why not do 60 percent and carry 40, God will still bless because you have a conscience.
Revive soccer for us and many will be employed, it will surely divert and distract high level of attention from oil and politics.

Thank you
